May 2nd Thursday Artist Reception was blessed with great weather, good wines, and delicious appetizers. A nice crowd attended to feast on the visual effects and enjoy the friendship. The photo show by Jeanne Morgan and Jim Walter captured the wonders to be seen around us. Jeanne is a professional photographer with a store in Goldendale and Jim Walter is an amateur taking professional photos.

The wines of the evening chosen by Leroy Schoot, were the very best in the Gorge area. The offerings included Double Gold medal winner San Francisco International wine competition (4,900 entries) by Marchesi Vineyard’s 2008 Sangiovese and Jacob Williams Winery 2007 “Best Oregon Wine” and “Best Red Wine” chosen at the Northwest Wine Summit this year. (1,100 entries).

There were many appetizers to choose from and people all helped themselves to their favorites. All in all a very satisfactory and pleasant evening, enjoyed by all.
