The Golden Art Gallery operates as a nonprofit organization as a Partner Artist of Shunpike, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts services organization.
Your donations to the Golden Art Guild are 100% tax-deductible through Shunpike, our fiscal sponsor. Shunpike, strengthens the arts community by partnering with artists to more effectively present and distribute their work. Originally started in Seattle, Shunpike has expanded their services to include art organizations in communities such as Goldendale, WA.
Shunpike is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts services organization, whose mission is to strengthen the arts community by partnering with small and mid-size arts groups to develop the business tools they need to succeed. It was founded in 2001 to support a vibrant and diverse local arts community where arts groups of all sizes could thrive. Working in close partnership with these groups, Shunpike helps solve problems quickly and imparts vital skills in finance, organizational management and arts administration. Since inception, they have supported work by more than 1,000 artists in live performance, film, literary arts, visual arts, and arts education.
The Golden Art Guild founded the Golden Art Gallery as a nonprofit organization to promote area artists and the arts through educational opportunities and art-inspired events as well as to promote the Goldendale community. The mission of the Golden Art Guild is to promote all media, facilitate art communication, encourage art education, and stimulate the community with art exhibits and shows.
